Here’s a silly video showing my new camera and some of its peripherals, (and yes, I like to crush the light in post — whether it’s highlights or blacks ;^)
This camera rig is built around a full-frame sensor DSLR, a Canon 5D Mark II, and includes: Canon 2.8 L IS 70-200mm, Canon 2.8 L 17-35mm, Carl Zeiss 1.4 50mm, a set of Nikon Nikkor prime lenses, Lensbaby Composer (w. wide), Zacuto Z-Finder, Cavision and Tiffen 4×4 filters, Century matte box, Redrock Micro clamps, lens donuts, follow focus, carbon fiber rails, Sennheiser G3 wireless lavaliers, Sony D50, and Ambient shotgun microphone & mixer. It also got some DIY stuff, including 600 Lumens tungsten LED lights and lithium battery packs.
The wine is Ravenswood 2006 Zinfandel.

This lens has excellent depth of field control and is a must have for all photographers. The lens is very cheap but is built great and takes amazing photographs. It is light weight, has a very high maximum aperture focuses quickly and has a very fast shutter. The lens is prime so there is no zoom but there are two rings for control of the aperture and manual focus

This is a video slide show of some pictures I took with my D70s, which was the successor to the D70. I got this camera a couple of weeks ago as a backup for my D90. I went to London yesterday and thought I would take some pictures and see how this 5 year old D70s performs. I was actually really pleased with its performance. Every picture that was taken was a handheld shot, and I used ISO 200 during the day, and ISO 800 for the night shots. The only lens used for all the pictures was the 18-70mm nikon kit lens. The D70s has been known to shoot 13 to 14 times what it’s been rated, some have even shot over 150,000 shots with it and it’s still going. I have to say this camera is built like a tank.
